Hello there, my name is Courtney Wallace, I am a 22 year veteran of the media business, mostly as a sports broadcast journalist.

Radio & Television

I spent 11 years with Irie Fm 107.7 as an on-air talent, producer, talk show host, reporter, play by play/color commentator and sales rep.

I am currently 8 years with Mello Fm as an on-air talent producer & editor.

I have worked as a camera op for TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) amongst numerous roles on different productions with different companies as a freelancer.

I started out as a play by play commentator for CVM TV before writing for the Jamaica Herald and Jamaica Observer newspapers.

Corporate

I worked as a content creator audio/video for a Law Firm and Insurance company with multiple radio and television shows airing on stations across Chicago, Nevada and Arizona.

I have also extensively done marketing and event promotions: namely Boxing/MMA shows, Jamaica International Kite Festival, Lucea Cross the Harbour (regatta) and several sporting events.

Other Interests

I have also served as a Sports Administrator, holding positions such as president of the Northern Basketball Conference, member of the National Basketball Council, was a member of the Jamaica Boxing Association and member of the marketing committee of the Jamaica Cricket Association.

Education

I studied at the Illinois Media School where I added the academic touch to my career while adding new skills in  video and sound editing, production, web design while hosting my own radio show Sit’n on the Edge (2-4pm Mon & Fri) on theedgeonair.com.

This show was syndicated across the beonair network heard in Chicagoland, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus Colorado and Miami.
